My story

Born from a Love of Locals

Family and Farms

Family legacy — the heart behind Victory Urban Gardens

Family

Where it all began

Victory Urban Gardens is brought from the heart of a Local Farmer finding a way to keep his grandmother in her home. Too often the solution is to put "Granny" in a nursing home, sell their home — and it's a downhill journey from there.

Legacy is missing in American society. In an effort to bring goodness back into the world, there's nothing more magical than creating life from seed.

From a bulletin board to a movement

What began as a farmer searching bulletin boards looking for farmers markets grew into a nationwide directory connecting thousands of urban farmers with the communities they serve.

The Featured Flagship Farms of Victory Urban Gardens will stand as a testament to the ability for communities to come together and Grow Again.

Our promise to you

We aim to never charge any fees — relying simply on donations to keep the lights on, the site running, and Keeping Farmers Findable to Locals.

All proceeds thereafter will go into Flagship Farms, saving family legacies in local neighborhoods and keeping homes out of the pockets of major corporations.
